As a San Diego Portrait Photographer serving San Diego, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, and all surrounding areas, I help families pause in the middle of the beautiful chaos and preserve these fleeting chapters before they become memories. Whether it’s been a year since your last session or this is your first time investing in professional family portraits, my goal is to create images that celebrate who you are right now: the connections, the laughter, the love that holds everything together.
Family sessions take place at gorgeous outdoor locations throughout San Diego: quiet beaches with soft sand and rolling waves, blooming trails with wildflowers and golden light, and scenic parks that feel timeless and natural. I also have a beautiful studio available in South Carlsbad for families who prefer a more intimate, controlled setting with soft natural light and a calm atmosphere. I schedule outdoor sessions around golden hour for that warm, flattering glow, and I work with you to choose settings that reflect your family’s personality and story. As a mother of six, I know that family life is unpredictable, children have their own agendas, and perfection is overrated. My approach is patient, calm, and pressure-free, with gentle direction that creates beautiful compositions while allowing real moments and genuine connection to unfold naturally.

I recommend scheduling sessions at least once a year to document how your family grows and changes. Spring and fall offer beautiful weather and gorgeous light, though I photograph families year-round at stunning San Diego locations.
When is the best time to schedule a family session?
As a mother of six, I completely understand! I’m skilled at working with children of all ages and know how to keep things fun, natural, and pressure-free so kids can be themselves while we still capture beautiful family moments.
What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?

Can we include extended family or pets?
Your carefully curated and hand-edited gallery will be ready within 2 weeks after your session. I’ll then guide you through selecting your favorite images and choosing custom wall art, albums, or digital files.
When will we receive our images?
