Can you believe how fast the time goes? That first birthday, and honestly every birthday after, comes faster than it should. All too soon, your tiny, fragile, immobile infant is a very mobile baby with glimpses of toddlerhood ahead. Baby’s first birthday is a great time book a milestone or cake smash photo shoot for your little one to celebrate! If you had newborn photos taken, it will shock you to see their portraits side by side and both will transport you back in time each time you see them.

At my Encinitas photography studio, I welcome babies of all ages! If you are looking for an earlier milestone such as 3 or 6 months to document, I’m happy to send details your way! Truly, every age is the right age for portraits of your baby.
