Beach Cake Smash

Happy 1st birthday to this gorgeous little one. When mom contacted me for a first birthday session, I couldn’t wait to start planning the perfect session for them. Indoor cake smash sessions seem to be the norm, but I loved beach cake smash at one of San Diego’s beautiful shorelines. She was pretty timid when it came to tearing the cake apart, but once she got a few tastes she definitely warmed up to the idea. Her big sister was happy to pick up her slack on the leftovers!
