There is so much talent in the area, how do you pick the right photographer for you? Here are a few tips to keep in mind when on the hunt for your maternity and newborn photographer.

1. Determine the aesthetic you want in your home. Is it light and airy? Or maybe you’re more interested in moodier photos. Do you want posed or candid images? Scroll through something like Pinterest to get an idea for the overall feel you want and then you can begin looking for photographers near you that photograph in that style. (I focus on capturing timeless memories for families!)
2. Now that you have your style, it’s time to determine your setting. Do you want a studio space? Or maybe photos in your home! Or at the beach! Experienced photographers will have specific locations and lighting required, so you might want to ask about what options are with the photographer you inquire with! (I have a studio space and multiple outdoor locations to pick from as well as the option to travel to your home.)
3. Do you have wardrobe in mind already or would you like some help with planning it? (I provide wardrobe styling for clients!)
