La Jolla Maternity Photography

I will start out by saying this family is beyond sweet. As soon as they spotted me waiting at the cliffs in La Jolla, the little guy ran up, jumped in my arms and told me how much he loved me. He was a charmer for sure! We had a beautiful sunset for this gorgeous mama’s La Jolla maternity photography session. The flowers were in full bloom and the sunset was almost as stunning as she was. Every time we turned a corner we found another beautiful spot to shoot in. The location didn’t disappoint. This sweet mama sent me a text shortly after our session ended gushing about how excited she was and what a great connection she felt with me. It made my night for sure. I can’t wait to meet the next little one soon!     This past spring, the California superbloom has been amazing. When I am out shooting in locations like these, I always stick to the edge of the trails and look for pathways to avoid trampling on the flowers. Each shot you see above was done in little open spaces we were able to access without ruining the surroundings. The only flower harmed in this shoot was from the sweet little guy who decided to pick one for me and exclaim “I love you Ms. Tristan!” What a cutie!
