Hi! I'm Tristan. I'm a mother of six, a photographer for over 17 years, and the owner of a boutique portrait studio in South Carlsbad. I specialize in maternity, newborn, family, and senior photography throughout San Diego County.
My days are a beautiful blur of kindergarten camp registrations, middle school gymnastics meets, high school sports schedules, and home renovations. I'm in the thick of it—the chaos, the noise, the relentless pace of raising a blended family. And honestly? It's exactly where I want to be.
I became a photographer because I know how quickly these seasons slip away—and how unexpectedly life can change. I lost my first husband when my three daughters were six, four, and fifteen months old. The photographs we had together became some of the most precious things we owned. They became proof of his presence, his love, and the life we built together.
That experience taught me something I carry into every session: photographs aren't just memories. They're anchors. They're evidence of what mattered most.
Years later, I met my husband, who had two children of his own, and together we welcomed our youngest. One minute you're cradling a newborn, and the next you're watching them graduate. I wanted to hold onto those moments—not just for myself, but for every family who trusts me to preserve their story.
