Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you are all out of your turkey induced comas and got plenty of good deals if you were one of the brave ones to hit the stores yesterday. Instead of shopping, I have been spending time editing some of my recent family photography sessions. I had the pleasure of photographing the adorable family below.

Trying to get two, high energy 4 year old girls to cooperate right before dinner time was a challenge, but these two cuties totally pulled through for me. I love getting to do family photography sessions like this. Their smiles and giggles were totally infectious. They had the most beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. The girls father is going to have his work cut out for him when they get older!

They also got some helpful tips from other clients of mine who recently had their family photography session. Once they were all done, they had such a great time that the girls didn’t want to leave! I’m so glad that they had a good experience and it shows in their photos.

I always tell my clients that family photography sessions are a lot of fun. You get to spend time with your loved ones and capture some beautiful memories at the same time. If you’re still on the fence about booking a session, here are some reasons why you should book one today:

-You’ll have beautiful portraits of your family to hang on your walls or give as gifts

-It’s a great way to document how your family has changed over the years

-You’ll create memories that will last a lifetime

If you’re started losing their attention, here’s a mom tip grab some skittles and it’ll save the day! I definitely recommend coming to a photography session with a few special treats if possible. Something as little as a fruit snack can make all the difference! Even if you think it won’t be necessary, bring some anyway. You never know when one of the kids (or adults!) might get hungry and start losing their attention.

I’m so glad that they had a good experience and it shows in their photos.

When photographing families, I always tell my clients to think of it as a fun day out with your loved ones. You get to capture some beautiful memories at the same time.
