Happy Friday everyone! Everyone around here is celebrating the school year coming to an end and the beginning of summer is finally upon us. There is special family in San Diego celebrating for a different reason today. After 11+ years in the Marine Corps, Major Nate Green, a Cobra helicopter pilot, celebrated his last day of active duty service. He will still be flying in the reserves, but his days of life on base will be replaced with a lot more time with his adorable son and amazing wife, Laura.
I was honored when Laura asked me to photographer Nate’s last active duty Cobra flight. He had no idea we were going to be there and the look on his face when he saw us on the flightline was priceless. I am so happy I was able to capture those moments for them.
I just wanted say thank you for your service Nate. You and your family have sacrificed a lot to serve and protect our country. We are all forever grateful for you and everyone else that has served. Best of luck to you!
