Zoe in a Basket | San Diego Baby Photographer

Happy Monday everyone! Today’s Mine on Monday post features my youngest daughter, Zoe. She is my little bean who still is wearing size 6-12 month clothing at almost 17 months old. She loves her blankie, tormenting her older sister, and eating. She has the biggest blue eyes you have ever seen and a smile that lights up the room. She can be totally easy going, but she hides quite the temper in there. She will let you know when she has had enough! I thought I would never be able to love another baby as much as I loved my first, but she has shown me I was soooo wrong. I love her to the ends of the earth & back!

Now that I have shared a little about my Zoe, I want to share with you some of the things I have learned from her in the short time she has been on this earth.

  1. Appreciate each and every moment – Life goes by quickly and before you know it your baby will be all grown up.
  2. Let them explore and learn – Babies are constantly learning and trying new things, so let them!
  3. They are individuals – Just like everyone else, babies have their own personalities and interests.
  4. Be prepared for anything – From poopy diapers to projectile vomiting (both happened to me with Zoe),you have to be ready for anything!
  5. They are a lot of work, but so worth it – Babies require a lot of time and effort, but in the end it is all worth it when you see their little faces light up with a smile.
  6. They change so much – Every day your baby will do something new and change a little bit more.
  7. You will never stop loving them – Even when they are driving you crazy (which will happen), you will still love them with all your heart.

Thank you for allowing me to share a little about my Bean with you. I hope you have a wonderful Monday! 🙂
