I haven’t been the best at blogging lately, but I really wanted to share a few photos I snapped of my sweet Riley this past week on her birthday. I can’t believe my little girl is 11 now! Where did the time go? She is basically responsible for my career as a newborn, children and family photographer. I started out photographing action sports in college, but made the switch after she was born and never regretted it! I’ve loved watching her grow with my eyes, but also through my camera lens. I feel like these quick shots I took the other day are a little window into her soul. She doesn’t wear her heart on her sleeve and sometimes I wonder what is going on inside that head of hers. I feel like these photos are a small glimpse. Riley is an amazing girl. She is a quiet kind of strong. She loves to read and create things. Marine biology is her passion. She is my little mama hen. Always helping out with her younger sisters and brother. She is a gifted piano player, singer and volleyball player. She is a loyal friend and is always willing to reach out to those in need. She’s the girl who made me a mom. Her step-dad and I love her to pieces and I know her daddy is watching down on her in complete awe. We love you Riley! I hope 11 is a wonderful year for you!
